We warmly invite you to an evening concert by spalarnia (Wojciech Kosma) at the Gallery on August 24, presenting the Artists newest Album Wolne Tańce.The event will be accompanied by a special screening of a video work by Ewelina Węgiel. Wolne Tańce is an earnest and gently hypnotic EP that builds on the previous minimal releases of spalarnia. In its opening sample a 1970s Polish band Anawa sings "the one who chooses solitude will never be alone" and sets both the lyrical and the musical tone for the whole album. Sublime, subdued, swaying songs tell introspective stories of love, self-love and the wonders and contradictions that emerge in their wake. Wolne Tańca translates to "slow dances" and the EP commits to its title with a delicate, incessant rhythm, not unlike a heartbeat.
